Klub is a vertical Fintech play focused on solving industry-specific financing gaps in the F&B sector through the application of data. We are angel-funded, currently in stealth mode, and based out of Domlur, Bangalore.


Our founders are Anurakt Jain (12+ yrs | Venture capital and corporate entrepreneurship at DFJ, Vertex, InMobi | IIT-D, Wharton, CFA) and Ishita Verma (9+ yrs | Investment banking and investing at Kotak IE, Unitus Capital, Snyder UAE | LSR, IIM-B).

Responsibilities

  • Ideate on the firm strategy with the founders and senior leadership team

  • Create and execute city rollout plans across tier 1 and 2 cities in India, including setting up city team structures, identifying personas for team roles, hiring, and setting up SOPs.

  • Lead Klub’s expansion in Southeast Asian markets

  • Set up, track and manage city level growth KPIs across both the brand and patron side of the platform.

  • Work closely with other internal teams, including the marketing team, to create exclusive experiences for Klub’s patrons. 

  • Create high-frequency feedback mechanisms for the product, underwriting and risk teams in Klub.

  • Meet with public officials, developers, and the public regarding development plans

  • The ability to determine quickly which partnerships to start, keep or dissolve.

  • Leadership: Recruit, lead and mentor a cross-functional team to build and execute growth strategies.

  • Partnerships: Identify and negotiate key partnerships to drive growth.

  • Business Analysis: Monitor and assess the performance of your market.

  • Work with and support central product teams to improve tools to drive growth in markets.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in managing growth at early-stage startups or global startups entering India. 

  • Strong academic credentials from a Tier 1 institution.

  • Significant understanding of the fin-tech and financial services space, especially wealth management business.

  • Bonus: Tier 1 MBA.

  • Bonus: Southeast Asian market knowledge or experience.
